Full Stack Engineer
The Company:

Reality AI gives our customers the tools to make every product they build more intelligent. We do this by making machine learning model generation, data curation, validation all effortless for our customers. Reality AI has 15 US patents and 6 patents pending in the areas of feature discovery and machine learning as applied to sensor and signal problems. Our key differentiators involve automated feature, model generation as well as ability to run these models on really low-cost microcontrollers. From emergency vehicle detection and localization needed in autonomous cars to failure detection in industrial components, our use cases and applications are aplenty. We’ve worked with some of the largest brands in the world you might have heard of. With customers in several countries and offices in Columbia, MD, Sunnyvale, CA, Detroit, MI, and Tokyo, Japan, we’re a truly global company that is in an industry that’s just beginning to take shape.

The Role:

Our primary product is a MERN / MEAN stack based tools product that our customers use on a daily basis to upload their data, visualize their data, and generate machine learning models amongst many other things. We’re fully cloud-native and leverage cutting-edge technology to solve some of the industry’s hard big data, machine learning problems. We’re looking for someone to come in and help build features and scale our product for growth. You will be expected to play a major role in architectural decisions, help prioritize and plan tasks, and write frontend and backend code for new features. The perfect candidate will be eager to collaborate, solve problems, and learn on the fly in a fast-paced, early startup environment.

Qualifications:

-Experience deploying and monitoring cloud-based, user-facing software
-Comfortable working with AngularJS / ReactJS (React hooks, Redux)
-Experience of working with chart libraries such as D3 and SVG frameworks
-Strong understanding of state management and how to apply it to a large application
-Proficient with Node and Express and writing backend RESTful APIs
-Experience with NoSQL (MongoDB) solutions
-Automated testing, CI/CD frameworks


Desirable Experience:

-Job queue architectures -Deploying maintaining and Docker containers -AWS (specifically ECS, Fargate, S3, but all AWS experience is helpful)

UI / UX Design Intern
Our AI tools live in the cloud. We need a great UX, starting with robust workflow and consistent, clear UI layout. You should bring user interface drawing and layout skills, detail-oriented thinking about consistency and look and feel, and an artistic eye for color and design choices. You will be working on cutting edge technical web-based applications, not informational or advertising sites. Related experience or training will get you noticed. Come help us make AI look good!

AI Engineers - Entry Level thru Senior Level
Candidates should be very strong in MATLAB programming, as well as in C / C++ and/or Python. MS Studio Tools and/or web app experience are helpful. Experience in wide varieties of machine learning algorithms and emerging methods (not just deep learning). Solid understanding of signal processing methods and sensor data analytics.

Sales Intern
We’re looking for a sales intern to support our global sales team by discovering new opportunities in automotive, industrial, and consumer products companies. The right candidate is persistent, a great team player, and hungry to create value as an early member of the Sales team. The Sales Intern will: generate new leads through outbound prospecting (e.g. outbound calls, e-mails), and qualify inbound leads from Marketing; prepare lead generation analyses; work with the other Sales team members to streamline internal processes and forecasting; serve as a key point of contact between the market and Reality AI; identify growth opportunities by representing Reality AI at conferences and industry events; coordinate cross-functional team initiatives with R&D and Marketing to devise strategies for new customer acquisition.

Requirements:
-Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in business, entrepreneurship or a technical field
-Availability to work part-time during the school year, with the possibility of more hours during breaks
-Must be authorized to work in the US
-Work will be remote for now, but once the coronavirus emergency has passed, you should be able to come into work in our Sunnyvale, CA office.
-Good written and oral communication skills in fluent, clear English. Other languages a plus.
-Proficiency with GSuite (Slides / Docs / Sheets)
